Mode and range
Built for a nurture group. Number cards put in order first, then the mode is the card there is most of and the range is biggest − smallest, with the trap of last − first before the cards are in order. Then comparing two groups: the smaller range is more consistent.
A free key stage 3 and GCSE support statistics lesson on mode and range, spec code S4. It has a lesson deck to teach from with a visualiser, a worksheet with answers and an exit ticket.
