Rotating shapes

Shapes turned 180° or 90° clockwise about a cross on a squared grid: count the squares from the cross to one corner, count the same the new way, then trace the shape and turn the paper. Half turns first, then quarter turns, with a frame to fill in on every question.

A free key stage 3 and GCSE support geometry and measures lesson on rotating shapes, spec code G7. It has a lesson deck to teach from with a visualiser, a worksheet with answers, an exit ticket and an end of unit test.
