Describing rotations
Describe a rotation fully: read the cross, then trace shape A and turn the paper until it lands on B. Half turns first, then quarter turns clockwise, about a cross marked on the grid, with a frame to fill in on every question.
A free key stage 3 and GCSE support geometry and measures lesson on describing rotations, spec code G7. It has a lesson deck to teach from with a visualiser, a worksheet with answers, an exit ticket and an end of unit test.
