Properties of 2D shapes
Built for a nurture group. Number the corners, count the sides and mark the right angles with a folded paper corner, with arrows on parallel sides and dashes on equal sides. Then name triangles and quadrilaterals from what is marked, turned every way: a square on its corner is still a square.
A free key stage 3 and GCSE support geometry and measures lesson on properties of 2D shapes, spec code G4. It has a lesson deck to teach from with a visualiser, a worksheet with answers and an exit ticket.
