Area of a trapezium

The trapezium with a copy of itself turned round beside it: the two make a rectangle as long as the parallel sides added, and the trapezium is half of it. Right angled trapeziums first, then the height dashed inside, with a frame to fill in on every question.

A free key stage 3 and GCSE support geometry and measures lesson on area of a trapezium, spec code G16. It has a lesson deck to teach from with a visualiser, a worksheet with answers, an exit ticket and an end of unit test.
