Four Fours:Rearranging formulae
Sixteen formulae sorted into four groups that say the same thing. Every card uses 2, 6, x and y, so the only way to sort them is to rearrange: (y − 6)/2 against y/2 − 6 is the trap. Two per A4.
A free key stage 3 and GCSE algebra puzzle with answers, spec code A5. It goes with the lesson on rearranging formulae.
