Fix it cards:Factorising harder quadratics

Seven cards, one for each step of factorising a quadratic that starts 2x squared or more: common factor first, the first number times the last, the two numbers, split the middle term in the grid, find the headings, write the answer, and check by expanding. Each has the rule, an example, three questions and a check. Two to an A4 page to cut out.

A free GCSE Higher algebra worksheet with answers, spec code A4. It goes with the lesson on factorising quadratics: harder.
