Geometry & measuresPuzzle

Code breaker:Pythagoras

Thirteen diagrams. Four find the hypotenuse and four a shorter side, then the hypotenuse lies along the bottom, and the last three hide the right-angled triangle in a rectangle or an isosceles triangle. Adding the squares when you should subtract, or the other way round, still unlocks a letter. One per A4.

A free key stage 3 and GCSE geometry and measures puzzle with answers, spec code G20. It goes with the lessons on Pythagoras: finding the hypotenuse and Pythagoras: finding a shorter side.
