Code breaker:Gradients and areas
A speed-time graph made of straight pieces: accelerations from the gradients, distances from triangles, rectangles and trapezia under the graph. Then four tangents to curves, given by two points, for the rate of change in context. The Code Box includes the answers you get from a rectangle in place of a triangle or a trapezium, or a gradient upside down. One per A4.
A free GCSE algebra puzzle with answers, spec codes A15 and R15. It goes with the lessons on area under a graph, rates from graphs and gradient of a curve.
