Square and triangular numbers

Dot patterns on every question. Draw the next pattern, count the dots, fill in the table: square patterns as rows times dots in a row, triangle patterns as the last pattern and a new row, with the frame printed until the last questions of the further practice.

A free key stage 3 and GCSE support algebra lesson on square and triangular numbers, spec code A24. It has a lesson deck to teach from with a visualiser, a worksheet with answers, a puzzle, an exit ticket and an end of unit test.
